The link between strategic management and leadership

Introduction
The company’s overarching vision statement directly determines the strategic decisions of a firm and cannot be achieved or measured instantly. All the strategic decisions such as policies, resource allocation, annual objectives, organizational structure  come from the top most level of management for example, the CEO's (Fuller, 2005).

The management always focus on the continuous improvements of the status quos. They implement planes and they direct the organization for their vision and mission. And the management have to well organize with the available resources to produce good outcome.

The management always works on the organizational vision they sets strategic planes to achieve the organization objectives. The management passes the work load to their second line to accomplish the tasks through employees. When the management sets the goals the leadership has the full of responsibilities to implement by aligning employees, inspire and motivating them to get the team work to achieve company goals.

Leadership and management entail a unique set of activities or functions. While leaders and managers share some similarities because they both influence others by using specific powers to achieve certain goals, there are also some prominent differences (Northhouse, 2007).
To implement these decisions, employees will need to accomplish a set of goals to reach outcomes. It is at this stage when employees depend on their manager’s abilities to solve problems and optimize their employee ‘strengths and skills This relationship between strategic management and leadership depends on various leadership styles in varying circumstances  to optimize human capital for the company to flourish.

Conclusion
Here we have made a conclusion that good leadership is nothing without the effective management both these terms are so important for each other for example if we consider an organization which has the management but not a good leader whatever best strategy made by the management until there is no one who can actually practically take the work from is not effective same likely if there is a good leadership but not the strategic management which actually analyses the situation resources suitability and feasibility than even good leadership is useless. Role of strategic management is much bigger than leadership and it can be said that leadership is involved to get the strategic goal defined on the behalf of company owner or shareholder.
